Per Diem Injury Prevention Specialist - ATC or PTA
About The Position
Accelerate Therapy and Performance (ATP) is seeking a per diem Injury Prevention Specialist to provide injury prevention services and individualized care to a grocery store warehousing and distribution client in an industrial setting. The role is based in person in Dwight, Illinois. Per diem support includes covering vacations and sick days, plus one scheduled weekend day per month for up to an eight-hour shift. The specialist will join a team of licensed healthcare professionals and certified fitness providers focused on injury prevention and wellness for working individuals. The position offers autonomy and flexibility, consistent opportunities to connect with clients, and ongoing professional development. The posted pay range is $32.00–$37.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Meet at least one listed qualification: Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) with an active state license and a bachelor's degree; Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with an associate's degree; Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) with an associate's degree; Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with a bachelor's degree; Exercise Physiologist with a bachelor's degree and certification from a reputable organization; or Personal Trainer with a bachelor's degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or a related field and a reputable certification.
- Hold an active CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
- Have at least 2 years of customer service experience.
- Be proficient in Google Suite.
- Have experience working with orthopedic or musculoskeletal conditions.
- Be confident, professional, and self-motivated.
- Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport.
