About The Position

RUSH Physical Therapy is seeking an engaging and enthusiastic part-time Injury Prevention Specialist to support a distribution center in Elgin, Illinois. This role combines ergonomics, employee education and coaching, preventive exercise programs, early intervention strategies, and health and wellness services to help reduce workplace injuries and enhance employee well-being. The schedule is on weekdays, with hours varying according to coverage needs and the specialist’s availability. Compensation is $25.00–$32.00 per hour, based on years of experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree.
• Minimum one year of experience.
• CPR certification.
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions.

Responsibilities

• Perform ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and deliver employee education and perform audits.
• Conduct movement assessments and develop preventative exercise programs.
• Engage new hire employees in education, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
• Deliver a return-to-work program for employees returning from injury.
• Provide early symptom intervention (ESI) care for employees.
• Provide health and wellness coaching on a wide range of topics.
