About The Position

The Injection Molding Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of employees who set-up and operate injection molding machines by leading and promoting a safety-first work atmosphere while ensuring all company rules and policies are followed. The injection molding supervisor will be a working supervisor performing set-up, processing, and production support while mentoring and coaching employees to ensure the goals and objectives of the company are met.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation and exceptional attendance
• 2 Years’ Experience in Plastic Injection Molding
• Able to Lift 50 Pounds
• Pass Pre-Employment Background Check, Drug Screen and Physical
• Available to Work Overtime as Needed
• Strong Mechanical Aptitude
• Ability to follow direction and provide direction and coordinate work to others
• Ability to stand, walk working in a manufacturing environment 90% of the time.
• Safe operation of forklifts and overhead cranes
• Lock/Out Tag Out

Responsibilities

• Promoting and support a safety-first work atmosphere.
• Ensures all company rules and policies are followed.
• Ensures components are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
• Directs, coordinates, and supports all production activities on 3rd
• Performs Set-Ups, Changeovers and Processing to Production
• Processes and Troubleshoots plastic injection molding equipment
• Records and maintains accurate production records using MRP system
• Supports Inventory and Cycle Counting using MRP system
• Keeps department clean and organized following 5S methodology.
