About The Position

Lead the charge in transforming LEGO's injection molding operations, driving safety, quality, and innovation while developing a high-performing team in a cutting-edge manufacturing environment. This position will start with a general administrative shift (8 AM to 4 PM) until the manufacturing site completes the ramp-up stage. Afterwards, it will transition to leading the 2nd shift schedule, which will be a 12-hour, 2-2-3 schedule.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Strong understanding of injection molding processes, mold setup, process validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven success in driving operational performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with highly automated manufacturing systems, including robotics and digital platforms.
  • Ability to lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety, quality, and compliance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and quality management systems like ISO 9001.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance coordination and equipment reliability strategies.
  • Background in plastics technology or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify production trends and improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily injection molding operations to ensure safe, stable, and efficient production performance.
  • Drive production performance through data-driven decision making and operational excellence.
  • Coordinate activities across teams including Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Automation, and Quality.
  • Oversee mold setup and changeovers to align with production schedules and capacity requirements.
  • Promote a strong safety-first culture by ensuring compliance with LEGO safety requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing team fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance production flow and manufacturing efficiency.
