About The Position

The Injection Mold Press Operator operates molding presses to produce quality plastic components. The role focuses on safe machine operation, proper part handling, basic inspections, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Operators follow established work instructions and support overall production flow. The position is part of Hach’s Operations/Plant Management organization at the Loveland, Colorado plant and is onsite. Requirements

Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operation and quality processes.
Ability to read and follow work instructions, labels, and inspection criteria.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Reliable attendance and adherence to shift schedules.

Responsibilities

Operate injection molding presses according to standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
Remove molded parts from machines, perform basic trimming, and ensure parts meet visual and dimensional quality requirements.
Monitor machines for alarms, defects, or irregular conditions and immediately report issues to the Lead Operator or Technician.
Package, label, and stage parts according to job-specific work instructions.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including adherence to 5S expectations.
Support continuous improvement efforts and follow safety, quality, and production policies.
