About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring product safety and quality throughout production operations. The Injection GL will prepare production paperwork, monitor machine operations, perform quality checks, identify and report nonconformities, and maintain a clean and safe working environment. The position requires the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and the physical capacity to perform demanding tasks.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED equivalent
Able to lift up to 35 pounds continuously throughout the shift.
Work involves continuous lifting, bending, reaching, and twisting.
Must have the cognitive and mental ability to multitask in a fast paced environment with attention to detail.
Ability to pass written testing requirements in numeric, visual, verbal comp, space visualization, and work orientation.

Responsibilities

Has a fundamental responsibility to ensure product safety and quality as it applies to all the duties listed below
Prepare production paperwork for machine start-up and operation.
Monitor machine operation to ensure parts are collected into storage boxes and are counted correctly.
Pull shots for quality checks following machine re-starts or as needed.
Identify nonconformities and inform the Shift QA.
Evaluate product to ensure high quality and conformance with established standards.
Report any food safety and quality problems or concerns.
Evaluate and document machine performance.
Maintain ink in printers and labels in labelers. Un-jam assemblers as needed.
Tape boxes shut, label the boxes, and stack for shipment.
Prepare paperwork at the end of the shift for the following shift, noting any problems or exceptions that occurred.
Maintain a clean and safe working area.
Perform sweeping, cleaning, sorting duties as necessary.
Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures
