About The Position

This role has a fundamental responsibility to ensure product safety and quality. The position involves monitoring machine operation, preparing production paperwork, identifying nonconformities, evaluating product quality, and maintaining a clean and safe working area. The job requires the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and the cognitive and mental ability to perform the duties.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED equivalent
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds continuously throughout the shift.
Work involves continuous lifting, bending, reaching, and twisting.
Requires the cognitive and mental ability to multitask in a fast paced environment with attention to detail.
Ability to pass written testing requirements in numeric, visual, verbal comp, space visualization, and work orientation.

Responsibilities

Prepare production paperwork for machine start-up and operation.
Monitor machine operation to ensure parts are collected into storage boxes and are counted correctly.
Pull shots for quality checks following machine re-starts or as needed.
Identify nonconformities and inform the Shift QA.
Evaluate product to ensure high quality and conformance with established standards.
Report any food safety and quality problems or concerns.
Evaluate and document machine performance.
Maintain ink in printers and labels in labelers.
Un-jam assemblers as needed.
Tape boxes shut, label the boxes, and stack for shipment.
Prepare paperwork at the end of the shift for the following shift, noting any problems or exceptions that occurred.
Maintain a clean and safe working area.
Perform sweeping, cleaning, sorting duties as necessary.
Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures.
