About The Position

The Ingredient Scaler supports the Production team at TreeHouse Foods’ Carrollton, Texas location. The role involves locating and verifying the correct scaling formula, checking scale calibration, accurately scaling ingredients, keeping ingredient bins filled, and maintaining an ample supply of scaled ingredients in the mixing-area racks. The employee also relieves the Head Mixer and Mixer Helper for breaks and follows good manufacturing practices to prevent product contamination. The role requires compliance with FDA, OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulatory requirements, and other duties may be assigned as needed.

This is a full-time, permanent, third-shift position. The shift runs from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays. A shift differential is included.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations to count product and fill orders.

Responsibilities

• Locate and verify the correct scaling formula.
• Check the scale for proper calibration.
• Accurately scale ingredients according to established formulas.
• Keep bins filled with the proper ingredients as needed.
• Maintain an ample supply of scaled ingredients in the racks in the mixing area.
• Relieve the Head Mixer and Mixer Helper for breaks.
• Follow good manufacturing practices to prevent product contamination.
• Comply with FDA, OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Work overtime as required.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.
