About The Position

The Ingredient Scaler supports the Production team at TreeHouse Foods’ Carrollton location. The role involves scaling ingredients according to established formulas and maintaining a supply of correctly scaled ingredients for production. It is a permanent, full-time third-shift role, scheduled from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays. A shift differential is included.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations to count product and fill orders.

Responsibilities

• Locate and verify the correct scaling formula.
• Check the scale for proper calibration.
• Accurately scale ingredients according to established formulas.
• Keep bins filled with the proper ingredients as needed.
• Maintain an ample supply of scaled ingredients in the racks in the mixing area.
• Relieve the Head Mixer and Mixer Helper for breaks and perform their duties as applicable.
• Follow good manufacturing practices to prevent product contamination.
• Comply with FDA, OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agency requirements.
• Work overtime as required.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.
