Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Member in good standing of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the design and project management of building mechanical systems.
Mastery of French and excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in AUTOCAD, REVIT, and Office 365 Suite.
Excellent ability to perform technical analyses, propose innovative solutions, and solve complex problems.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and adhere to deadlines and fee budgets.
Collaborative spirit and positive leadership to influence technical decisions and client relationships.
Strong team spirit, mentoring, and support skills for colleagues.
Sense of organization and priority management.

Responsibilities

Perform technical supervision, coordination, verification, and design of various building mechanical projects.
Collaborate with the team to design mechanical systems related to buildings for different sectors (institutional, office, commercial, cultural, and residential) in building mechanics.
Establish contact with the client to understand their needs.
Project management or discipline lead responsibilities based on experience and affinities.
Conduct surveys of existing installations.
Analyze, design, and adapt building-related installations.
Prepare preliminary project studies and various types of client reports.
Estimate construction costs and participate in schedule development.
Write specifications and technical reports.
Coordinate interdisciplinarily with internal and external professionals.
Provide assistance during construction supervision.
