For 35 years, the bridge and structures design team has been carrying out challenging projects across the province, such as the reconstruction of bridges and interchanges, the design of new road or rail structures, asset management, structural analysis, or the rehabilitation of any structure in the transportation sector. Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Be a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec as an engineer.
  • Hold a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in the field of bridges and structures.
  • Mastery of the requirements of the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable (MTMD) and the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (PJCCI).
  • Possess good analytical skills, leadership, and excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a network and manage work teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians in project execution, meet clients, and coordinate teamwork with other disciplines.
  • Manage budgets and resources allocated to each mandate.
  • Ensure rigorous administrative management of projects and assume responsibility for them (invoicing, collection, contractual management, etc.).
  • Participate in the design and preparation of plans and specifications.
  • Supervise deliverables (reports, plans, specifications, estimates, schedules).
  • Participate in the preparation of service offers and work plans.
  • Establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with colleagues, clients, partner contractors, and representatives of main suppliers and subcontractors.
  • All other tasks related to the job.
