EXP is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Project Manager to join its dynamic team in Drummondville or Victoriaville. Reporting to the Director of Environment, Soils, and Materials for the Centre-du-Québec and Bois-Francs region, you will be responsible for geotechnical projects. Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering.
  • Be a member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
  • Have more than 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Mastery of the Office suite and software Chaussée 2, GeoSlope, Géotec, and GeoStudio.
  • Excellent command of French, both oral and written.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Geotechnics.
  • Basic knowledge in the environmental field.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a Geotechnical Project Manager for the Centre-du-Québec and Bois-Francs sector.
  • Assist and advise the existing technical and professional team during the various stages of project execution.
  • Collaborate with geotechnical professionals working in EXP's Quebec offices.
  • Participate in business development in the field of geotechnics.
  • Write service proposals.
  • Plan and execute follow-up and execution of geotechnical studies involving drilling, soil and rock sampling, installation of wells and piezometers, in-situ testing, etc.
  • Write study and expertise reports, including supervision of laboratory testing programs.
  • Calculate bearing capacities, settlements, and other parameters related to geotechnical studies.
  • Determine slope and embankment stability, and perform stability analyses using software such as GeoSlope.
  • Perform technical and administrative follow-up of projects while maintaining good communication with clients.
  • Perform all other duties related to the job.
