About The Position

TEHORA is currently looking for a Civil Engineering (Design) Engineer with excellent technical skills and knowledge who wishes to leverage their skills within a versatile team. The selected candidate will be responsible for determining client needs, estimating costs for municipal infrastructure projects, producing and interpreting plans and specifications, estimating quantities and costs, designing water, sewer, and road networks, designing stormwater retention systems, liaising with clients and presenting plans, preparing and submitting authorization requests to the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MELCC), preparing and submitting work permits to the Ministry of Transport of Quebec, researching relevant project information, occasionally drafting service offers, overseeing and ensuring the conformity of construction work, attending client meetings, and monitoring budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
  • Minimum of 3 years or more of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Specialization in networks and roadways.
  • Experience in consulting engineering with municipalities.
  • Knowledge of best practices for stormwater management.
  • Knowledge of SWMM and water balance software.

Responsibilities
