About The Position

The role of Avionics Systems Engineer involves defining and managing avionics system requirements to ensure safety, certification, and aircraft integration. The engineer will coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of various avionics systems, including communications, navigation, displays, cabin connectivity, recording, and maintenance systems. The position also supports system testing, validation, and certification activities according to industry standards. Responsibilities include reviewing and approving supplier deliverables and test results, supporting final assembly and in-service aircraft for design-related issue resolution, and contributing to the development of tools, processes, and software related to avionics systems and the IMA environment.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Software, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Junior to senior-level experience in avionics systems, integration, testing, and aircraft certification.
  • Strong knowledge of avionics systems and their interaction within the aircraft.
  • Team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel.

  • Contribute to the development of tools, processes, and software related to avionics systems and the IMA environment.
