Our expertise is diverse, and yours? As a senior mechanical engineer, you will play a key role at the interface between client needs and the design of adapted technical solutions. You will be involved in the upstream phases of projects (understanding needs, defining solutions, supporting service offers) as well as in the engineering phase (design, validation, and implementation). You will actively contribute to developing trusting relationships with clients while ensuring the quality and relevance of the proposed technical solutions. Thanks to your experience (16 years and more), you will act as a technical expert and strategic partner to clients and internal teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Member of the OIQ or eligible
Minimum of 16 years of relevant experience in mechanical design and industrial projects
Good understanding of field realities and operational challenges
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Autonomy, technical leadership, and sense of responsibility
Advanced French and functional English
Design software (SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA or equivalent)
Calculation tools (Mathcad, advanced Excel, specialized software)

Responsibilities

Develop client needs: Understand and analyze clients' technical and operational needs, Participate in client meetings and technical reviews, Contribute to the preparation of service offers (technical approach, estimation, strategy).
Analyze and define solutions: Identify problems and opportunities for improvement, Define concepts and technical solutions in line with client needs.
Design and engineering: Design or optimize mechanical equipment and systems (industrial, handling, lifting, etc.), Participate in preliminary and detailed design (selection of concepts, materials, configurations).
Calculations, plans, and implementation: Perform dimensioning calculations (loads, fatigue, stability, material resistance), Contribute to the preparation of technical plans and specifications, Participate in calls for tenders and equipment selection.
Coordination and collaboration: Work in close collaboration with internal teams (electrical, structural, process).
