About The Position

The Design Engineer (Repairs) will be responsible for analyzing damage reports, developing and defining innovative repair solutions in accordance with certification requirements applicable to all components and/or assemblies of the complete aircraft structure. This role ensures aircraft safety and airworthiness by reporting any unsafe conditions and maintaining compliance with delivery objectives in terms of schedule and quality. The engineer will provide repair instructions that comply with applicable certification/airworthiness requirements, as well as company processes and methods, and design complex repairs using CATIA V5. They will also coordinate proposed repair solutions with other stakeholders, considering the implications of airworthiness regulations, materials and processes, aerodynamic effects, and any other required functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant design experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Strong understanding of stress and airworthiness requirements in the design of aircraft structures.
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5, Enovia, and the following manuals: SRM, ASRP, and NTM.
  • Dynamic, proactive individual with a strong sense of responsibility and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Organized, able to manage time effectively, and capable of prioritizing tasks while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Good level of proficiency in both English and French.

  • Knowledge of customer operations, product integrity/accountability, and maintenance operations.
