About The Position

Requirements
- Strong IV insertion and vascular access skills.
- Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
- Ability to work independently while managing a flexible schedule.
Nice To Haves
- Previous infusion nursing experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Administer IV medications, hydration, antibiotics, and specialty infusion therapies.
- Assess patients before, during, and after infusions for safety and effectiveness.
- Monitor for adverse reactions and provide appropriate interventions when necessary.
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document care accurately.
- Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapies, medications, and disease management.
- Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
