About The Position

VIVO Infusion is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Infusion Registered Nurse to provide safe, effective, and compassionate patient care in accordance with state and federal regulations, company policies, and clinical guidelines. The role includes administering infusion treatments, calculating and mixing prescription medications, performing accurate IV insertions, and monitoring patients before, during, and after treatment to support their comfort and well-being.

The position is full-time at the Woburn, Massachusetts location. The schedule is Wednesday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and alternating Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The role is non-exempt and reports to the Clinical Operations Manager. The work takes place indoors in a generally quiet medical office, with sounds from medical equipment.

Requirements

• Current and valid state professional nurse licensure.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing associate's or bachelor's degree program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of IV experience.
• Demonstrated record of and commitment to safety and excellence.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to independently perform accurate dose calculations and mix medications regularly.
• Ability to read and interpret safety requirements, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.

Nice To Haves

• ONC certification.

• Specialty certification or CRNI (Certified Registered Nurse Infusion).
• ICU or ED experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a knowledgeable, skillful, consistent, and attentive manner within the scope of practice.
• Calculate, mix, and administer prescription medications daily.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after infusion treatments.
• Assist with managing and overseeing inventory and supply ordering.
• Document and report patient assessments to medical staff and other healthcare team members on an ongoing basis.
• Perform skillful and accurate IV insertions.
• Communicate with providers via Telehealth as needed.
• Assist in implementing continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
• Perform admission and ongoing patient assessments.
• Complete assigned daily run/flow sheet reviews on treatments.
• Demonstrate competency in facility policies and procedures to ensure compliance with clinical and technical requirements.
• Supervise assigned unlicensed direct patient care team members.
• Enforce and adhere to HIPAA compliance policies.
• Complete accurate daily electronic charting documentation and reporting efficiently and on time.
