This is a temporary, full-time opportunity providing LOA coverage for a period of less than six months. The role involves providing timely and accurate pharmaceutical care by preparing, compounding, packaging, labeling, and dispensing medication, IV admixture, and solutions according to Sutter Health policies, state/federal regulations, and The Joint Commission standards. Responsibilities also include assisting with medicine and supplies inventory management and control, maintaining adequate stock levels, checking pricing accuracy, and completing required regulatory documentation. Adherence to all standards, procedures, cleaning protocols, and infection control policies is essential to maintain a safe and sterile medication area, clean rooms, and laminar flow hoods. Employees may handle hazardous drugs in accordance with USP 800 guidelines.
