About The Position

Corewell Health is establishing a new infusion therapy location in Norton Shores, serving the greater Muskegon community. This new 7-chair clinic will offer non-oncology infusion therapies locally, enhancing Corewell Health's capacity to meet community needs. Corewell Health manages over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, providing diverse primary care and specialty practice options, allowing for professional growth and specialization. The charge nurse role is a temporary assignment on a shift-by-shift basis, and all responsibilities, requirements, and essential functions of the staff nurse role within the unit/department apply. Educational and certification requirements for the staff nurse role must still be followed.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree Nursing
• Bachelor’s Degree Nursing must be obtained within 5 years for those who start in this RN role on or after January 1, 2017
• Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program
• LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan.
• Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process.
