About The Position
The Infrastructure Support Engineer ensures the stability and integrity of voice, data, video, and wireless network services. This position requires the skills to install, configure, maintain, support, and optimize all infrastructure hardware, software, and communication links. In addition, the Infrastructure Support Engineer will participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of Windows server environments, both on-premises and cloud-hosted.
Requirements
- Experience with Windows Servers and Active Directory.
- Experience with AzureAD and Intune/Endpoint Manager.
- Experience with on-premises Exchange and Office 365.
- Experience working in a technical support environment.
- Understanding and familiarity with IT policies and procedures.
- Experience with cloud-based services, specifically Azure and Office 365.
- Experience troubleshooting LAN/WAN connectivity issues.
- Experience registering domain names, configuring DNS records.
- Ability to analyze, implement & support fixes/resolutions.
- Ability to interface with all levels of the organization (technical and non-technical).
- Excellent organizational, communication (written & verbal).
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Nice To Haves
- A+, MCP, Network+, CCNA and/or MCSE certifications are desirable.
- VMWare experience is desirable.
- Cloud & Virtualization Platforms: Azure Administration, VMware vSphere/ESXi, Hyper-V
- Enterprise Systems: Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Entra Administration
- VMware Certified Professional
Responsibilities
- Supporting various client environments remotely and occasionally onsite.
- Processing a ticket and SLA driven workload.
- Supporting and maintaining various Microsoft 365 tenants.
- Supporting and maintaining on-premises and cloud-based environments.
