Infrastructure Engineer - Hybrid
About The Position
Genesis10 is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution in Charlotte, NC. This is an 18+ month contract opportunity. The role provides senior-level technical expertise and operational leadership for critical Trader Voice Services and regulatory call recording infrastructure. The engineer will support a regulated voice recording environment responsible for capturing and retaining trader and business communications, focusing on platform maintenance, lifecycle management, infrastructure upgrades, and supporting strategic migration initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with NICE Trader Recording (NTR) or Verba Financial Compliance (VFC)
- 2+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent
- Experience with Proteus, Continuity Replay, or Vodafone recording integrations
- Prior experience migrating between recording platforms or performing platform consolidation
- Experience with on-premise to cloud migration of infrastructure or application workloads
- Understanding of build/deploy pipelines, release management, and configuration management tools
- Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure (networking, compute, storage, data centers)
- 2+ years' experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper V, etc)
- Experience with lifecycle management including patching, maintenance, health checks, decommissioning
- Understanding of business continuity (BCP) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions
- 2+ years of information security experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

Responsibilities
- Provide platform maintenance and lifecycle management
- Perform infrastructure upgrades and modernization efforts
- Conduct vulnerability remediation and patch management
- Handle system health monitoring and operational support
- Engage in engineering design and implementation activities
- Support migrations and strategic platform initiatives
