About The Position

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer – Automation to design, build, and maintain infrastructure-as-code foundations supporting cloud and hybrid environments. The role focuses on developing reusable Terraform modules, hardening infrastructure pipelines, enforcing policy-as-code, and standardizing infrastructure delivery across teams and cloud providers. The ideal candidate applies strong software engineering practices to infrastructure work, has delivered production-grade Terraform at scale, and understands the operational demands of managing thousands of resources across many environments and accounts.

The position is 100% remote in the U.S., full-time, and direct W2, with an annual salary range of $100,000–$150,000. Applicants may be U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, or candidates transferring an H-1B visa. The company is unable to sponsor new H-1B visa petitions for this position.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps engineering, with significant Terraform focus.
• Deep, hands-on experience authoring and maintaining production Terraform for at least one major cloud provider.
• Strong experience designing reusable Terraform modules with clean APIs and version discipline.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform state management, backends, and large-scale workspace organization.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure code and automated policy enforcement.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security primitives.
• Strong Git-based workflows, including code review, branching, and release management.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with multi-cloud Terraform, such as AWS with Azure or GCP.
• Familiarity with Terragrunt, Atlantis, Spacelift, or env0.
• Experience with policy-as-code engines such as Sentinel, OPA, or Checkov.
• Contributions to public Terraform modules or providers.
• Exposure to FinOps practices and tagging-driven cost governance.
