Infrastructure & Energy Financing Analyst
About The Position
The Infrastructure & Energy Financing Analyst will underwrite private credit opportunities in the infrastructure and energy sector. This role involves a deep focus on financial modeling, fundamental credit diligence, and understanding market drivers. The analyst will also be involved in deal execution, including sponsor and management team engagement, negotiation, structuring, and syndication. Additionally, the role supports senior team members in seeking transaction approvals from internal functions, analyzing project documents and third-party consultant reports, and participating in ongoing risk management and company performance oversight.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Superior analytical aptitude, creative problem-solving abilities, and intellectual curiosity
- BA or master’s in economics, business, engineering, or law obtained at a top tier university
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and ability to use AI to your advantage
Responsibilities
- Underwrite private credit opportunities in the infrastructure and energy sector, with a deep focus on financial modeling, fundamental credit diligence, and market drivers
- Deal execution, spanning sponsor and management team engagement, negotiation, structuring, and syndication
- Support senior team members seeking transaction approvals with internal functions
- Build financial models, size debt, run sensitivities, and analyze cash flow coverages and other relevant debt metrics
- Analyze project documents and third-party consultant reports
- Participate in ongoing risk management and company performance oversight
