This role provides backup help desk support for approximately 170 users at the Northbrook headquarters. Key responsibilities include performing onboarding and offboarding tasks, setting up new employee workstations, coordinating with international help desk teams, monitoring backup systems, installing security agents, performing basic server administration, troubleshooting VM host and connectivity issues, resolving duplicate account problems, and imaging laptops. The specialist will also interact with global teams for infrastructure initiatives and use the FreshService ITSM platform for ticket management and asset inventory. Retrieving local admin passwords and BitLocker keys from Entra ID is also part of the role. The environment includes Dell laptops, Cisco network equipment, and HP servers.
