The Associate Construction Support Specialist II exercises sound engineering judgment in evaluating, organizing, and executing assignments of basic level. This position provides construction support requiring the application of standard techniques and procedures in performing assigned tasks and typically works on projects of small sized scope. This position possesses practical knowledge and experience for applying functional support for construction proposals and projects.

Requirements

  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and two (2) years of work-related experience or a or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to six (6) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to, coworkers, management, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete job
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province and federal/national statutes and guidelines
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
  • Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.

Responsibilities

  • Apply education and technical knowledge to larger and more complex construction scope activities
  • Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff
  • Other duties as assigned
