fal is the generative media ecosystem powering the next generation of AI products. We build the infrastructure, tools, and model access that teams need to move from idea to production, and do it at scale without compromise. For developers and enterprises, fal is the foundation that makes generative media not just possible, but practical: a unified platform where high-performance inference, orchestration, and observability come together to unlock new categories of AI-native products. As generative media reshapes industries across a market projected to grow by hundreds of billions over the next decade, fal is becoming the ecosystem that ambitious teams build on. About this role: We're hiring an Infrastructure Accounting Lead to own the accounting for fal's largest and fastest-growing cost base: compute. GPU capacity, colocation and hosting, and the engineering effort we build on top of it all run through this role — from the detailed review of infrastructure spend each month, to the technical positions behind it, to the systems and automation that make it scale. You'll partner with Finance, Operations, and Engineering to build out fal's infrastructure and R&D accounting processes, including cost to compute. That means working with internal stakeholders and infrastructure partners on data and vendor billing accuracy, and collaborating with the Technical Accounting Lead on treatment of complex compute arrangements so our positions stand up to auditor review. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. You'll partner closely with Infrastructure, Engineering, Procurement, Legal, and Strategic Finance, and use the latest AI tools to work productively.
