About The Position

Ridgeview Institute is looking for a highly skilled Information Technology (IT) Specialist. The Information Technology (IT) Specialist is responsible for maintaining all of the computers, printers, and mobile devices as well as providing IT support for all users. This role maintains the facility’s information system in accordance with security, privacy, and confidentiality policies and procedures. The specialist is responsible for the 24/7 operation of hardware and software, implements and maintains interfaces between servers, appliances, and other hardware within the Enterprise. They analyze, recommend, and implement software replacements/upgrades; perform periodic maintenance; maintain systems and supporting users; and manage security. Security management includes data/information access control, data encryption, data transmission, and security compliance tracking. The role provides hands-on and remote support for configuration, installation, and maintenance of networked workstation equipment and peripherals. The specialist investigates and resolves software and hardware problems of computer users and provides other associated IS services. They investigate software/system user requirements and implement software and data setup and configuration. The role is also responsible for maintaining Multiple Functional Devices (MFDs – copier/printer/scanner) and for upgrades and maintenance for mobile devices. The IT Specialist must adhere to facility, department, corporate, personnel, and standard policies and procedures, attend all mandatory facility in-services and staff development activities, and adhere to facility standards concerning conduct, dress, attendance, and punctuality. They will also support facility-wide quality/performance improvement goals and objectives and maintain the confidentiality of facility employees and patient information.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Two (2) years data entry experience, preferably in a health care setting
Working knowledge of computers and business software application programs
Experience with in-house processing systems
May be required to work flexible hours

Responsibilities

Maintaining all of the computers, printers, and mobile devices
Providing IT support for all users
Maintaining the facility’s information system in accordance with security, privacy, and confidentiality policies and procedures
Responsible for 24/7 operation of hardware and software
Implementing and maintaining interfaces between servers, appliances, and other hardware within the Enterprise
Analyzing, recommending, and implementing software replacements/upgrades
