About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking an Information Technology Senior Manager to join the Boeing Defense, Space and Security Product Lifecycle Management team. This role involves joining a dedicated leadership team to provide value to Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) and Boeing Global Services (BGS) programs by developing and deploying a service ready solution for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). The Integrated Product Data Management (IPDM) program is designed to support BDS common processes, consisting of one common image to enable a "design, build, and support anywhere" philosophy while reducing Information Technology (IT) cost and infrastructure. This program is a collaborative effort involving BDS Engineering, BGS, IT Product Systems, and Siemens.

Requirements

10+ years of experience within information technology
10+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
5+ years of experience in program management
5+ years of experience working within an Agile development team
5+ years of experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
3+ years of experience in a managerial role

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or higher
5+ years of experience in the Digital Transformation Environment (DTE)
Experience with Siemens Systems (Teamcenter, NX, etc)
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using appropriate code versioning and build/test automation tools

Responsibilities

Leads a large development team that includes direct employees, contractors and purchase services
Provides direction and coordination of developers utilizing the latest development processes for configuration, data mapping and workflow development on a large Integrated Product Data Management application
Understands software design across several programing languages
Manages and integrates employee and first-level manager activities across Information Technologies including infrastructure design and administration, application analysis and design, information management, architecture, computing security, computing project support and/or process analysis
Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages and provides developmental opportunities for employees and first-level managers
