About The Position

The Information Technology Manager’s role will oversee technology projects from planning through execution, and manage the Technology Team, ensuring new solutions and IT Operations correspond to business objectives. Primary duties encompass planning, coordinating, and directing IT-related activities, and providing administrative direction and support for the IT Department's daily operations. This position has direct supervisory responsibilities for the IT Team.

Requirements

  • Technical knowledge of networking and PC OS, including Windows, Google Workspace, Power BI, EDR, and Cybersecurity.
  • Technical knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and standards, including Cisco switches, firewalls, Access Points, VPN, internet circuits, HP SAN, IDPA, Veeam, and Netskope.
  • Experience in a wide breadth of Enterprise IT technologies.
  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development.
  • Experience in technical end-user support.
  • Skilled in building and motivating technical teams and possessing the ability to build strategic relationships and influence people at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in personnel management.
  • Familiarity with project management principles.
  • Familiarity with project management software such as MS Project, Asana, or Smartsheet.
  • Proven experience or knowledge in applying Automation and AI to streamline processes.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills.
  • Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Display keen attention to detail.
  • Work independently and thrive in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Apply analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Relevant work experience in technology with a broad understanding across multiple IT disciplines.
  • 7+ years progressive IT experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or lead role.
  • Proven change management, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
  • Certifications related to networking, project management, and IT service, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the IT Team's operational and strategic planning, inspire innovation, strategize projects, and allocate resources through organized negotiation.
  • Establish and enforce IT policies and procedures, covering architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.
  • Partner with stakeholders to create clear IT policies and identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and user satisfaction.
  • Oversee deployment, monitor, maintain, develop, upgrade, and support of all IT Systems, including networks, servers, PCs, OS, hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Oversee provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services.
  • Promote an automation-first approach for IT Operations and business applications and provide opportunities for IT and business stakeholders to adopt automation tools.
  • Implement asset management for IT hardware, software, and equipment.
  • Direct IT staffing, including recruiting, supervising, scheduling, developing, evaluating, and managing team members performance and accountability.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Communicate regularly with project stakeholders.
  • Conduct project postmortems and compile recommendations reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
  • Oversee and drive project development from inception to completion.
