Information Technology (IT) Technician
About The Position
Immanuel Bible Church (IBC) employs this IT Technician to support both the Church and Immanuel Christian School. The role assists the IT Director with managing, maintaining, and securing IBC’s IT systems. The ideal candidate is ministry-minded and an all-in team player who supports Church operations behind the scenes so the Church can focus on Gospel teaching, preaching, and ministry activities. The position includes a three-month, performance-based probationary period to assess the candidate’s skills and suitability for the team. The successful candidate must become a member of Immanuel Bible Church within 90 days of their start date. Occasional work outside standard business hours may be required.
Requirements
- Comfort troubleshooting common hardware and software problems.
- Understanding of basic database and server administration.
- Understanding of basic networking concepts.
- Familiarity with Windows.
- Good time management skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent customer service.
- Must become a member of Immanuel Bible Church within 90 days of the start date.

Responsibilities
- Assist the IT Director with church management databases.
- Assist with computer hardware and software.
- Assist with internet connectivity and related components and systems.
- Assist with servers and the telephone system.
- Assist with the website platform.
- Assist with wired and wireless internal networks.
- Help manage, maintain, and properly secure the Church’s IT systems.
