About The Position
As an IT Intern, you will have the opportunity to code, test, analyze and coordinate the development of software applications; through research, documenting and modifying software specifications throughout the production life cycle. You will also analyze software errors in a timely and accurate fashion providing status reports as required. In addition, you will have the opportunity to support vendor software through the production life cycle, including installation, ongoing support, and upgrades.

Responsibilities
- Assisting senior-level developers, analysts and designers in conceptualizing and development of new software programs and applications
- Assisting integration analysts and database administrators in vendor software installation, support, and upgrades
- Researching and documenting requirements of program users
- Consistently writing, translating and coding software programs and applications according to specifications
- Running and monitoring software performance tests (including Unit, System, Integration, Performance, and ad-hoc trouble-shooting) on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement and general debugging
- Administering critical analysis of test results and delivering solutions to problem areas, and providing feedback to analysis/training staff about performance considerations/usability issues concerning software specifications and implementations
- Recommending, scheduling, performing and coordinating software improvements and upgrades
- Working with Project Leaders, Business Analysts, Integration Analyst, and other team members to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems
- Seeking training and development activities related to the industry; limited
- Travel may be required for training
