About The Position

Canon Financial Services, Inc. is currently hiring for our 2026 Canon Insights Internship Program. The program will be held from Tuesday, June 2, 2026 - Thursday, August 6, 2026. Canon is an innovative global digital imaging leader that uses technology to dissolve the barriers we face in the connections we build, the experiences we create, and even the lives we live. We are looking for passionate and experienced students to join the Canon USA team. This is a paid summer internship 10-week robust experience. Canon Financial Services, Inc. (CFS) is currently located in Mount Laurel, NJ and will be relocating to Burlington, NJ during the summer of 2026. The intern will be integrated into a fast-paced engineering team to help build, test, and deploy functional code and will contribute to department initiatives.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a student in an accredited college or university.
  • An enrolled undergraduate student who is currently a junior and entering their senior year as of Summer 2026, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree aligned with the department of interest.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Chat, Calendar and Drive).
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
  • Self‑motivated with a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with diverse teams.
  • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and gain hands‑on experience in a wide variety of sales, marketing, and finance business activities.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of new features and maintenance of existing codebases using languages such as .net, angular, SQL, or JavaScript.
  • Assist in identifying, documenting, and fixing software defects to improve system stability.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews.
  • Write and execute unit tests to ensure high code quality and prevent regressions.
  • Maintain clear documentation for technical workflows and API endpoints to help the team stay aligned.
  • Gain hands-on work experience by participating in significant work projects that help you learn, develop business skills, and provide a meaningful contribution to Canon's business and goals.
  • Be exposed to world-class teams and our business, marketing, and strategy initiatives through training, meetings, presentations, and other planned activities.
  • Gain marketable skills and knowledge that you’ll need in transitioning into the workforce.
