About The Position

This is a Full-Time, nonexempt (hourly) position with a shift of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The role includes an every-other-weekend on-call responsibility and reports to the Vice President of Human Resources. The IT Assistant will manage and respond to end-user IT requests, maintain the Help Desk Ticketing system, and troubleshoot technology issues for staff and residents. Responsibilities include hardware and software installations, maintenance of phone systems and emergency call systems, and providing IT education to both residents and employees. The role also involves device setup for new residents and performing other administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

  • 1+ year experience with computer networks, PC troubleshooting, and phone system management.
  • Knowledge of computer, iOS, and android operating systems.
  • Knowledge of system security management and electronic privacy.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize assignments.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting experience.
  • Able to perform the essential job responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing Microsoft Intune, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to end user IT requests.
  • Maintain the Help Desk Ticketing system, responding, prioritizing, and closing tickets in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot/diagnose staff technology issues including phones, tablets, computers, TV, and WIFI issues.
  • Responsible for assisting with all upgrades, repairs, and replacements of computer hardware.
  • Responsible for maintaining the phone system and troubleshooting application issues.
  • Assist with management and maintenance of the emergency call system.
  • Assist with management and maintenance of the access control systems.
  • Assist with hardware and software installations.
  • Assist with department specific software programs.
  • Manage and respond to all resident IT requests.
  • Executing device set up for residents living/moving into Apartments.
  • Responding timely to communications from all sources (i.e., emails, voicemail, written/verbal requests).
  • Implement and optimize use of SharePoint sites.
  • Responsible for Resident IT Education
  • Responsible for employee IT Education.
  • Perform other administrative duties as necessary or directed.
