About The Position

ELEVATE YOUR CAREER ! Join the City of Roseville Information Technology Team as an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ANALYST I or II Take on a vital role supporting the City’s essential systems. You’ll prepare and maintain procedures, documentation, and security methodologies; monitor system resources; troubleshoot issues; and provide Tier I and Tier II support for critical 24/7 communications, storage, and computing environments. You’ll manage cross-department projects, deliver clear technical reports, train users, and foster strong working relationships across the organization. This position has the opportunity for hybrid work and may require after hours or on-call support. Within the Client Services functional area, you’ll provide expert hardware and software support, participate in helpdesk operations and recommend improvements to customer support activities. You’ll maintain incident management tools, coordinate work across IT functions, and oversee PC and peripheral inventory. You’ll also forecast technology needs and support vendor sourcing and review efforts. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, at the time of appointment, from an accredited college or university, preferably with major course work in computer science, information systems or a related field.
  • Possession of a valid California driver’s license by date of appointment.
  • Two years of responsible experience performing duties similar to that of an Information Technology Analyst I, within the respective functional area(s), with the City of Roseville (for Analyst II).

Nice To Haves

  • Some positions require clearance of a comprehensive Police Department (PD) background check within 12 months of appointment.
