About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Information Technologist IV to support a dynamic training and operational environment. This role is responsible for delivering reliable video teleconferencing (VTC), audiovisual (AV), and IT support services across classrooms, training facilities, and enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT systems support, AV/VTC technologies, and hands-on troubleshooting, with the ability to operate effectively in secure environments where on-site support is often required.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in a Systems Administrator or IT support role
  • Experience supporting VTC systems, AV equipment, and classroom technologies
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows-based systems
  • Hands-on experience with networking, servers, and end-user devices
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems (e.g., Remedy, ServiceNow, etc.)
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues in secure, restricted environments where remote access may be limited
  • Strong communication skills and ability to support both technical and non-technical users

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Army or DoD IT environments
  • Familiarity with thin-client and virtual server technologies
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments (10,000+ devices)
  • Knowledge of training systems or mission command platforms
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end VTC and AV support for training sessions, meetings, and mission-critical events
  • Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate VTC sessions using approved collaboration platforms
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues in real time
  • Support classroom technologies, including computers, thin clients, servers, and presentation systems
  • Maintain and support wired and wireless networks, private networks, and communication systems
  • Perform hands-on technical support for desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, scanners, and mobile devices
  • Manage and track IT service requests and work orders through an enterprise ticketing system (e.g., Remedy or similar)
  • Support training environments and specialized systems, including enterprise resource planning and mission systems
  • Ensure all systems are maintained in compliance with Army security policies and procedures
  • Assist with system lifecycle management, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades
  • Provide support for web-based platforms and classroom automation systems
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and continuous system availability
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism when supporting end users
