Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Systems, Information Systems Specialist (Business Systems Analyst(s)) are responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of business systems and processes related to the administrative activities of the University. This role ensures alignment between business needs and technology solutions, provides guidance on the development of requirements and potential solutions, collaborating with stakeholders (faculty, staff and students) to deliver high-quality systems that support organizational goals. Business Systems Analysts play a critical role in enabling an Integrated Service Delivery approach by: Facilitating Cross-Functional Collaboration: Acting as a bridge between business units, IT, and service delivery teams to ensure seamless integration of processes and systems. End-to-End Service Mapping: Documenting and analyzing workflows across multiple service areas to identify dependencies and integration points. Data and Process Harmonization: Ensuring consistency in data definitions, business rules, and process standards across integrated services. Customer-Centric Design: Supporting the development of systems that provide unified and efficient experience for end-users, reducing time to delivery and improving service accessibility. Continuous Improvement: Monitoring performance metrics and feedback to refine integrated processes and enhance service delivery outcomes.
