The Oregon Department of Justice (DOJ), Information Services Section, is hiring for an Information Services Specialist 5 (Quality Assurance Analyst) to support our DevOps Experience Program. This role ensures the quality, reliability, and compliance of DOJ information systems by planning, coordinating, and executing comprehensive testing across the development and deployment lifecycle. You will partner with developers, project managers, business analysts, product owners, and security to embed quality gates in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from inception through release, validate system changes, strengthen performance, stability, and user confidence across DOJ technology services. This position is Limited Duration through June 30, 2027, with the possibility of extension based on agency needs. A rotational opportunity may be offered if the best candidate is internal to the State of Oregon. Manager approval is required prior to applying for a rotational opportunity. This role is a hybrid of remote work and in-office work. Remote work is embraced to the fullest extent possible without interfering with business. There is an expectation of reporting to the Salem office occasionally for scheduled team meetings. The finalist must reside in the state of Oregon by the time of appointment.
