Information Systems Intern
About The Position
This opportunity is for an Information Systems Intern, specifically a Test Engineer, who will combine technical skills with big-picture thinking to impact national security and warfighter operational readiness. The role involves applying critical thinking to customer requirements and developing appropriate systems for their mission. The intern will translate real-world needs into technical specifications, making them integral to delivering customer-focused engineering solutions. Key aspects include shaping the DoD customer mission by integrating and testing new technology solutions in mission systems, as well as designing, developing, and evolving these systems with advanced technology. The position offers a chance to broaden skill sets into areas like new system development and new technology evaluation, ultimately creating mission-critical products and services for the DoD and national security. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Requirements
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience bridging the gap between technical development and business
- Experience as an intern
- Ability to quickly react and adapt to a rapidly changing environment due to changes in system requirements, emerging technologies, and end-user requests
- Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree by Summer 2027
