Information Systems Engineer
About The Position
EnTech Engineering, PC is a multidisciplinary engineering and construction management firm devoted to delivering best-in-class design and construction support services for infrastructure and facility projects that strengthen communities nationwide. Based in New York City, our firm is made of engineers, technologists, environmental scientists, construction professionals, and consultants who are passionate about improving the infrastructure, buildings, and communities that surround us. EnTech is seeking a full-time “Information Systems Engineer” to support infrastructure projects through business processes and operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills to plan, conduct, and direct the analysis of business problems with automated systems solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or foreign equivalent
- Demonstrated expertise in system administration/engineering, web-based application development, user technical support & IT project management/implementation
- Strong ability to maintain network security & data
- Proficient in SQL/MYSQL Servers/PHP/HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Unanet AE Administrator Certificate required
Responsibilities
- Design/manage/customize Unanet ERP AE systems, including dashboards/user roles/UDFs (user-defined fields)/triggers/messaging automation/third-party system integrations
- Lead internal user adoption through surveys/training/documentation/feedback loops & system support
- Create/automate SQL database procedures & activity logging systems using SQL Server triggers
- Integrate with external systems & manage data flow for ERP/CRM analytics
- Provide technical leadership & implement strategies to improve system efficiency & integrity
