The Mission The Leidos team delivers the core backbone of the Service, Management, Integration and Transport (SMIT) program, including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Leidos will support network modernization efforts to provide Sailors, Marines and the civilian workforce with the tools they need to be more efficient at increasing naval capabilities and further empowering the Navy Marine Corps team to compete and win.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 10 - 12+ years of IT experience with extensive Microsoft Power Platform architecture, enterprise application modernization, and large-scale solution delivery experience
  • Strong expertise in: Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages)
  • Microsoft Dataverse
  • Power Platform ALM/CoE Toolkit
  • Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Azure AD)
  • REST APIs, custom connectors, .NET
  • SPFx (SharePoint Framework), JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Power Platform deployment automation
  • Azure Integration Services
  • Experience with SharePoint governance, security, and compliance frameworks
  • Experience with migration and administration tools (e.g., DocAve, iOra, ShareGate)
  • US Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance
  • Must possess an IAT Level II Certification

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, customization, and implementation of enterprise Power Platform solutions, including complex Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate workflows, and Power BI analytics.
  • Architect scalable Power Platform environments leveraging Microsoft Dataverse, custom connectors, REST APIs, and deep integration with Microsoft 365 and Azure.
  • Define project scope, technical architecture, implementation plans, and lifecycle deliverables for enterprise low-code/no-code initiatives, including cost estimates, resource planning, and deployment timelines.
  • Serve as the senior technical authority for enterprise Power Platform architecture, governance, scalability, and modernization initiatives while establishing a Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE), defining Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) standards, governance models, and best practices.
  • Design and implement enterprise-grade business solutions using advanced Canvas App formulas, multi-stage Power Automate flows, DAX-driven Power BI dashboards, and custom PCF (Power Apps Component Framework) controls.
  • Integrate Power Platform applications with enterprise systems (e.g., legacy SQL Server databases, Azure services, SharePoint, and third-party platforms) utilizing standard and custom API connectors.
  • Lead application modernization and optimization efforts, including migrating legacy systems (e.g., InfoPath forms, classic SharePoint workflows, legacy databases) into modern Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.
  • Establish and enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, environment routing, role-based access control (RBAC) in Dataverse, and compliance standards aligned with information assurance and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Oversee performance monitoring, API request limits, capacity planning, and overall tenant health for Power Platform environments.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across app execution, flow failures, data integration layers, and premium connectors; provide root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and citizen developers in Power Platform architecture, ALM/DevSecOps practices, and modern Microsoft ecosystem tools.
  • Support proposal efforts and technical solutioning for new business opportunities related to enterprise automation, low-code modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.
