About The Position

Critical Solutions has an immediate opening for an Information Systems Architect to support our federal customer in Quantico, VA. This role involves coordinating the design, development, implementation, and support of business and/or technical IT solutions across multiple specializations, platforms, and technologies. The architect will define project scope, plans, and deliverables, including cost projections and implementation dates, and assist leadership in determining the organization's technical direction. Responsibilities include researching, analyzing, recommending, and implementing new technologies, standard processes, tools, and techniques. The role also involves creating portions of IT plans aligned with the customer's strategic direction and business needs, coaching others on new technologies and methodologies, and providing technical support for marketing initiatives through proposals and studies. Additionally, the architect will review system and programming designs to ensure appropriate technology selection, efficient resource utilization, and integration of systems, as well as identify, develop, update, and enforce standards and procedures, monitor and resolve performance issues, and interface with support groups on production problems and technical concerns. Staying current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies is also a key aspect of this position.

Requirements

Active Secret clearance or higher
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field
10+ years of IT experience and architecture experience
Experience in Information Technology (IT) projects in a complex environment.
Specialized experience in disciplines such as, but not limited to, information security, privacy, and information assurance, assembly/integration, cross-discipline functions, data engineering, industry expertise, knowledge engineering, legacy evolution, or system infrastructure.
Strong expertise in: SharePoint Online / 2016/2019 SPFx (SharePoint Framework), JavaScript/TypeScript
Strong expertise in: Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
Strong expertise in: Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, OneDrive, Azure AD)
Strong expertise in: REST APIs, CSOM/JSOM, .NET
IAT level II certification
Must be willing and able to commute to Quantico, VA
Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Selected candidate must undergo background investigation (BI) and finger printing by the federal agency and successfully pass the preceding to qualify for the position.

Responsibilities

Identify, develop, update, and enforce standards and procedures.
Monitor and ensure resolutions of performance issues.
Interface with support groups on production problems, technical concerns, and financial issues.
Research, evaluate, and stay current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies.
