About The Position

Applies computer hardware and software expertise to establish and maintain Government program specific information technology (IT) capability in accordance with Government instructions, policies and procedures. Familiarity/proficiency with processes and functions. information technology hardware and software products, as well as, computer peripherals (e.g. printers, monitors. hard drives, docking stations, scanners. etc.); customer service support skills; customer training to include demonstrations of hardware/software; documentation development, updates, customer handbooks, and other training aids; database development, design, implementation, and maintenance; network operations and administration: application development, design and implementation; document scanning and retrieval: and telecommunications implementation and training (VTC, telephone, voice mail).

Requirements

• Proficiency with information technology hardware and software products.
• Familiarity with computer peripherals (e.g., printers, monitors, hard drives, docking stations, scanners).
• Customer service support skills.
• Skills in customer training, including demonstrations of hardware/software.
• Skills in documentation development, updates, customer handbooks, and other training aids.
• Skills in database development, design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Skills in network operations and administration.
• Skills in application development, design, and implementation.
• Skills in document scanning and retrieval.
• Skills in telecommunications implementation and training (VTC, telephone, voice mail).

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain Government program specific information technology (IT) capability in accordance with Government instructions, policies and procedures.
• Provide customer service support.
• Conduct customer training, including demonstrations of hardware/software.
• Develop and update documentation, customer handbooks, and other training aids.
• Develop, design, implement, and maintain databases.
• Perform network operations and administration.
• Develop, design, and implement applications.
• Perform document scanning and retrieval.
• Implement and train on telecommunications (VTC, telephone, voice mail).
