RxFiles provides objective, evidence-informed drug information to support optimal prescribing and patient care. The work of RxFiles translates clinical evidence and real-world experience into practical tools used by healthcare professionals, including drug comparison charts, educational materials, and academic detailing sessions. This position reports to the Chief Editor for core content development and works collaboratively with the Director on broader responsibilities and workload planning. The role is based in an in-person office environment within the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition at the University of Saskatchewan. Decision-making involves interpreting evolving scientific evidence, ensuring content accuracy and balance, and determining the appropriate inclusion in RxFiles materials. The work is project-based with multiple concurrent deadlines, requiring strong organizational and time-management skills. Publication timelines, content updates, and emerging clinical evidence drive work cycles. Collaboration with subject matter experts and participation in team meetings are essential components. Occasional outreach activities, such as conference participation, may be required.
