About The Position

As a Manager, Detailing, you’ll lead the engine behind how ideas become reality. Sitting at the intersection of creativity and execution, you’ll guide a team responsible for translating bold experiential concepts into precise, build-ready CAD/CAM documentation. This role is critical to delivering high-impact brand experiences across trade shows, activations, and permanent installations—ensuring every detail is accurate, efficient, and built to perform. Leadership & Impact You’ll directly lead the Detailing team, with responsibility for hiring, coaching, performance management, and overall team direction. You’ll play a key role in shaping how we deliver world-class experiential builds—ensuring our teams, tools, and processes are aligned to meet the demands of a growing business.

Requirements

  • Strong background in CAD detailing within experiential, trade show, fabrication, or production environments
  • Experience leading and developing teams, with a hands-on leadership style
  • Fluent in AutoCAD and understand the full build lifecycle—from concept through fabrication and install
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving complex design and production challenges independently
  • Thrive in collaborative environments and can effectively partner with cross-functional teams
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Passionate about process improvement and building scalable systems across teams
  • Trade School diploma, Associate’s Degree, or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of CAD Detailers across fulfillment centers and freelance networks
  • Partner closely with Sales, Project Management, and 3D Design to translate creative concepts into production-ready drawings and specifications
  • Oversee the development of CAD/CAM documentation for experiential builds, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
  • Drive alignment across fulfillment teams to ensure seamless execution from concept through fabrication
  • Establish and evolve standard operating procedures to improve detailing workflows and overall production effectiveness
  • Own project planning including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent builds
  • Participate in project launch meetings and weekly fulfillment calls to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Provide hands-on problem solving—clarifying drawings, resolving production challenges, and supporting cross-functional teams
  • Mentor, train, and develop detailing talent while fostering a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Standardize tools, systems, and software alignment across detailing teams and facilities
  • Contribute to innovation by researching materials, fabrication techniques, and build solutions that push creative boundaries
