Information Security Analyst - IS Mod

Mayo ClinicRochester, MN
Hybrid

About The Position

The Information Security Analyst serves a split focus within the Information Protection – Network Security (IP-NS) team, dividing time between Vendor Remote Access (VRA) onboarding operations — including intake, provisioning, access validation, and customer communication for vendors and business partners using approved remote access tools — and analytical support for the CyberSecurity Engineering/Tools budget process and associated analysis. (forecasting, actuals-vs-forecast tracking, variance analysis, invoice validation, contract/renewal calendar upkeep, and monthly reporting). The successful candidate must bring strong customer service skills to consistently deliver a positive experience for internal and external stakeholders, paired with strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formula-driven models, and dashboard development) to support the budget function. The role requires someone who is comfortable talking with and presenting budget details to leadership on a regular basis, translating financial data into clear narratives. A self-starter mindset and a high level of personal organization are essential — this role balances competing priorities, external-facing service requests, and recurring budget deliverables. Ability to operate effectively in a hybrid work environment, including participation in on-site work-related events, team collaboration sessions, and key organizational activities as required. This is a hybrid position and the incumbent must live within 100 miles of a Mayo Clinic campus. Mayo Clinic will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position including F1 OPT STEM.
