About The Position

Nakupuna Solutions is seeking an Information Management Officer (IMO). The Information Management Officer is responsible for overseeing and managing an organization's information systems, policies, and procedures while ensuring efficient information flow, security compliance, and optimal use of information resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information management, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in information management
  • Certified Information Professional (CIP)
  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • ITIL Certification
  • Sec+
  • ComTIA+
  • Strong knowledge of information management systems
  • Experience with document management software
  • Understanding of database management
  • Knowledge of information security principles

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement information management policies and procedures
  • Oversee information systems security and access controls
  • Gather, analyze, respond to, resolve, or forward customer IT service requirements or problems in the most efficient and effective manner
  • Manage document control and records management systems
  • Coordinate information technology initiatives and projects
  • Employ the Government's IMO business processes and tools. IMO support services shall include monitoring of service requests and incident tickets to ensure service performance standards are being met, and service delay issues shall be escalated to the Government lead(s).
  • Ensure compliance with information security regulations
  • Supervise data backup and recovery procedures
  • Lead information management training programs
  • Conduct information systems audits
  • Manage information lifecycle processes
  • Coordinate with IT teams for system implementations
  • Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Monitor and report on information management metrics
