The Chief Information Officer (CIO) exercises managerial authority and strategic leadership over the information technology team, programs and services that include cybersecurity, network services, IT infrastructure, SCADA systems, GIS, metering, and enterprise applications in compliance with the company's utility privatization contract. The CIO oversees the design, development, production, testing, and maintenance of all types of technology solutions; develop and maintaining partnerships with a wide array of people at every level including governmental agencies, vendors, industry for the purposes of continuous learning, process improvement, change management and effective collaboration; and identifies and implements best practices to effectively manage a 24X7 system necessary for utility operation. Through strong leadership skills and business acumen, the CIO manages and supervises a diverse staff responsible for all facets of information technology services. This will include networks, business systems, operational controls, cyber security measures, and critical infrastructure protection.
