About The Position

This Co-op experience provides participants with a meaningful, relevant work experience as part of their academic studies. In addition to daily responsibilities, participants will have the opportunity to participate in a series of structured activities designed to enhance their learning experience including: Intern New Hire Orientation, Senior Leadership Speaker Series, Social & Networking Events, and Presentation Challenges. At the conclusion of this position, interns will have increased their knowledge of investing, the mutual fund industry, employee engagement, and a firm understanding of how sales works at an asset manager. The MFS Summer Internship program is a 10-12-week program, starting June 9th, 2027, and ending on August 13th, 2027. Students work full-time, Monday through Friday, 35-40 hours per week and are paid hourly. All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Internships are open to students who are rising seniors (class of 2028). MFS is a hybrid work environment (with 2 remote days and 3 on-site days) unless otherwise stated in the job posting. Following established policies and procedures, the student in this role will support multiple teams within the reporting function. The intern will contribute to the client reporting, publishing, regulatory publishing, and quality control (QC) teams throughout their time at MFS. In this position, the intern will assist team members by helping ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of performance and statistical data while adhering to established processes and standards.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively and efficiently.
  • Working knowledge of computer based programs including MS Word and Excel.
  • Rising seniors (class of 2028).
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Works with Regulatory Publishing Team Members to Publish and Web Verify Regulatory Documents on a Monthly and Adhoc Basis.
  • Prepares and distributes version control spreadsheets.
  • Prepares evidence for Daily and Monthly Checklists.
  • Updates and maintains all retail publishing events on SharePoint.
  • May Interact with a variety of groups across the company, including Legal, Fund Treasury, Marketing, MFS Transfer Agency.
  • Ensures materials are timely, available and deadlines are met.
  • Prioritizes multiple projects/deliverables with competing deadlines on a daily basis.
  • Assist other teams in client reporting to complete weekly deliverables.
