This role involves collecting, analyzing, and monitoring key performance metrics and operational data for the clinical pathway, and sharing this information with the Regional Continuous Improvement Lead Organization. The position also requires maintaining a services directory for the clinical pathway and developing a process to ensure its accuracy. The Informatics Support Specialist will coordinate and participate in the selection, analysis, design, planning, risk assessment, implementation, training, maintenance, support, and upgrade of Central Intake systems using best practices. They will monitor issues affecting patient care, identify opportunities for efficiency in Medical Imaging, and participate in the quality and data management of patient data in imaging applications. The role also involves developing strategies to ensure data privacy and protection, aligning improvement projects with the organization's Strategic Plan, and participating in education related to health and safety legislation and workplace wellness. The position may also require representing the department on committees and performing other duties as assigned.
